Library
The College has a well stocked library. Cadets visit the library during the library periods as well as during the leisure time. Books are available on all important subjects. A qualified librarian (MLIS) manages the library.
Canteen / Cafeteria
There is a canteen cum cafeteria for the cadets where they can buy almost anything they are likely to need while living in the Hostels. They can also have cold drinks/tea/snacks when they are free in the afternoon or on holidays and satisfy their hunger with the best available quality food.
Laboratories
Information Technology is the most important source of manipulating information and gathering latest knowledge in a modern way. Keeping in view the importance of IT, the College has a well equipped Computer Science Lab with latest Computing Equipment (Core i5 8th generation) including LCD Multimedia Projector and a number of Printers. All the computers of Computer Lab and College are interconnected with each other through a LAN network where Internet is accessible all the time.
College Mess
All cadets have their meals in a fully air- conditioned, properly furnished and efficiently managed Mess. Meals include: Breakfast, Mid-morning snacks, Lunch, Evening Tea, Dinner & Brunch on Sunday & Holidays. The menu varies from day to day, providing balanced food to meet the needs of growing young cadets.
PSCC Horse Riding Club
Pakistan Steel Cadet College has established its Horse Riding Club facility which is a compulsory activity for all cadets. Horses were purchased from Mona (Army Horse Depot) and local market of Interior Sindh. Furthermore, for the maximum facilitation of cadets’ extension of PSCC riding club is in progress.
Medical Facilities
The college has a dispensary of its own, staffed by an M.B.B.S. doctor and full time dispensers. However, serious cases are referred to Pakistan Steel Hospital.
Free Treatment
Outdoor treatment (including routine medicines) and first aid is provided by the College free of Cost.
Treatment on Payment
Charges on account of Indoor treatment and consultation with specialists will have to be borne by the Parents. The expenditure will be recovered from the security deposit which shall then be reimbursed by the Parents.
Security Cameras
Security cameras have been installed throughout the College to ensure the safety and security of the cadets.
Parents/Guardians-Cadets Communication
a - Visitors
Parents or authorized Guardians (duly authorized by the parents in written) may see the cadets on alternate Sundays in the College premises as per instructions given by the College management. Visitors on other days are not allowed to meet cadets, as it disturbs their daily routine.

c – Correspondence/Communication
Parents/Guardians are advised not to telephone their sons/wards frequently. However, cadets are allowed to keep simple (keypad) mobiles to contact their parents only on Saturdays & Sundays in a specified time for two hours only. In case of any emergencies, parents can contact their respective House Masters.
